My day with Jesus was spectacular and I could tell I would have a great time from the start!. He is so knowledgeable and engaging. I learned so much about Panama's rich culture and history, visiting many iconic places. The time of my tour made my experience even better because all the places we visited were not busy and I could really soak it all in and make memories. Jesus takes so much pride in his job and his country and it shows. During the tour we would have interesting discussions about the places we visited and what my thoughts were on what I learned. It was a great way to connect history to the present, and learn how interconnected we all are no matter where we are from. Jesus also took me to two amazing places to try local food. Panama is probably not on the radar for many tourists. But Panama is gaining ground and becoming a top tourist destination in Central America. When my wife and I decided to visit Panama 5 years ago we had no intentions to return to Panama. On our first trip there, we met our tour guide, Jesus. It was a coincidental meeting but it turned out to be the best thing for us. Jesus opened our eyes to the wonders of Panama, from the stunning Caribbean beaches of Portobelo, Bocas del toro, amazing hiking trails of El Valle, the Panama Canal, Panama has it all. In Panama City, Jesus  introduced us to the rich culinary scene of Panama City, Night life, and world class hotels.   If you are like me, someone who appreciates exceptional customer experience, attention to detail, punctuality and professionalism, Jesus is your perfect tour guide, articulate in both Spanish and English. My wife and I have fallen in love with Panama because of the warmth and love of the Panamanians. A couple of years ago some friends and I had the good fortune of meeting a great tour guide named Jesus Mendez.  He was personable, full of suggestions, fluent in English, and offered reasonable rates.  Because Jesus exceeded all of our expectations, we committed to a second tour where he took us off the beaten path, and exposed us to areas that we otherwise might have missed.  We were so impressed with his services that on a trip to Panama City last summer I employed Jesus to transport me to the Immigration and Tribunal Electoral offices.  Before dropping me off at each appointment Jesus went “above and beyond the call of duty” by getting out of his car to talk with the person I was meeting, and asking them to call him when I was ready to be picked up. This most certainly put me at ease as I negotiated unfamiliar surroundings.  This is the best transportation service I have ever discovered in a foreign country.

Visiting Panama was amazing. The real icing on the cake though... being on tour with Jesus made our trip extra special.
